Director of Facilities Engineering and Emergency Preparedness lead for Kaiser Permanente
Theophilus Little is the Director of Facilities Engineering and Emergency Preparedness lead for Kaiser Permanente in the San Francisco Area. He oversees a critical aspect of the organization’s building and maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of facilities and preparedness for any emergencies. Theophilus’ passion for healthcare stems from his upbringing as a military brat and six years of service in Army, where he witnessed firsthand the transformative power of medicine. This exposure ignited a spark within him, leading him to pursue a career in healthcare administration. His last role in the Army was as the Logistics Chief responsible for the combat hospital’s medical supply inventory, engineering, IT, and clinical technology. His military service was distinguished and highly decorated, serving in Texas, Korea, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Theophilus is also the Pride@KP Business Resource Group, Enterprise Co-Chair. He works and strives to support the national efforts to make Kaiser Permanente the employer of choice and the national leader in the delivery of quality health care to the LGBTQ+ community.
When not immersed in the world of healthcare, Theophilus indulges his passion for theater and the arts, serving as the Board Chair for the New Conservatory Theater Center in San Francisco. His artistic inclinations provide a creative outlet and complement his leadership skills.
Theophilus graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Biology and earned his Master’s in Health Administration at Milken Institute School of Public Health, George Washington University.
